Why are you criminals still holding onto my money, yet you won’t refund or send back to where it came from. This is wrong
Dumps a whole USA portfolio because it's inconvenient for them. I've notified everyone I know in Europe to sever their use of Monzo services. Despicable!

Just another selfish company. It's leaving in two months. I personally found this experience to be hands down the best experience I have ever had with any fintech. I hate to see it go, I'm only leaving a 1 star review because I think it was a quick decision for a fast turnaround, that will probably fail. No one was talking about Monzo here, but I did get looks every single time I used it the bright orange card. Yeah. I'm going to miss my expense and everything have been set up here.
The new “Trends” feature in place of the old spending tracking makes no sense. It used to be that you could track and mark targets for how much spending you did besides things like rent or bills that were beyond your control, and then in another section you could see how much was just withdrawn overall that month. Now the replaced feature is not intuitive at all, and if you “exclude” a category from spending, it still counts towards your target but is removed from your withdrawal summary from the month? That makes NO sense. Please, PLEASE change it back— I have no idea who you tested this with, but it is awful.
Monzo is shutting down USA accounts. The app is so well designed, is reliable and smooth, and doesn’t have intrusive ads or upsells. It also shows my balance from 3rd parties, even my PayPal balance. The option for temporary and disposable cards are so great for subscriptions. This app truly gives Revolut a run for it’s money and needs to stay in the USA. Please re-think your decision; we need this here.
If I wanted to transfer the money from my Monzo account to my bank account, there were no options to just do it without exposing and opening my bank transactions to them and to a third party app. I did not feel safe doing that so I had to find a different way to send my own money back to me and the struggle was not worth having the app. So I am uninstalling it after this review.
They suck
They do background reviews of accounts and have the right to freeze them and close them without notifying you or giving an explanation as to why. Customer service is awful and communication is very delayed and one-sided. They may have some cool features - just be sure you know what you’re doing or you’re screwed. My whole experience was infuriating.
The froze and cancelled my family's account on a Friday. And later I couldn't even log in for the help feature. I called the number and the card and the lady just said only the email help department can answer any questions on that. So I emailed and the response just said the can't provide information on the decision to cancel. It messed up our financial situation so bad, I have one paycheck was direct deposited to the account after it was closed because my payroll lady is out. Now I'm missing a full check and they won't even communicate. Avoid them at all costs.
