This is the worst airline app I have ever dealt with. It is slow, locks, and despite changing password and confirming that my new password is correct keeps saying it has emailed confirmation to me when it hasn’t and when trying to login with new password does not allow me to login. Worst experience for any airline app I have ever dealt with and I have dealt with most of them
The Delta mobile app, as well as the Delta website, are just straight up trash! They are so buggy and glitchy in so many ways, which is crazy to think about as one of the world’s largest airlines. It’s unbelievable how incompetent Delta’s IT team is or whoever design and maintain their app and website. The skymiles login and the promotions section are unbelievably hard to navigate and use.
Making an app mandatory to get the mobile boarding pass is yet another reason I will never fly with Delta wherever possible.
Writing to express my strong disappointment regarding the 7-day SLA for unlocking account as communicated by your customer service representative, in first place have no idea why and how my account got unlocked. In todays hi-tech world with such a competitive markets this needs to be looked into and have better workflow and authentication recovery options in place
This airline should’ve went down and not Spirit. How are you going to push out the notification that a new flight has been assigned when the prior connecting flight has already taken off. I land at an airport only to find out the next flight available is 5 hours away.
The app is amazing for routing you through unfamiliar airports-you get a turn-by-turn navigation as though you were on Google Maps! Room for improvement: 1) Receipts for incidentals & baggage-please make these accessible in the app. The “receipt” that is accessible doesn’t show how the item was paid for and misses important documentation required for company reimbursement. 2) Please explain baggage allotment when offering upgrades. For example, I was able to upgrade to first for $110 on today’s flight, but I didn’t do it because I wasn’t sure if it included a free bag or not. Had I known I could have flown with **2 FREE BAGS** I would have upgraded immediately. Very disappointing. The baggage calculator says it’s different for every single flight so very unhelpful.
Error that my name in my passport is not valid. You are an airline app. Seriously?
I tried to sign up and submitted the log in and personal info then got an error message when I submitted everything. When I try to start over, it tells me I already have an account but my log in credentials are not valid even though I use the same info I just submitted. I can’t get a password reset even when I use the SkyMiles number you sent in an email. So I will have to enter as a guest from here forward and not receive the benefits I am trying to sign up for
Decent airline, mediocre app. Constantly glitches, errors when booking, never works with VPN, doesn’t let you easily toggle back and forth between search results and flight details (requires starting a new search), ecredits and vouchers often not showing up due to glitches, API errors, slow and buggy, MQD counter not updated automatically. Design and UX could be decent if it just worked! It does seem to be decent on flight days to get boarding pass etc but not for booking or searching flights.
Be careful when changing a flight; the app is prone to crashing. Even if you see a pre-authorization on your credit card, don't assume everything is fine! On the day of check-in, Delta will block you, claiming your payment wasn't confirmed (despite the pre-authorization) and then force you to rebook the exact same flight at a higher price. In my opinion, this borders on illegal and their customer service is as clueless as ever.
