I would say this is a good “canary in the coal mine” situation.

The ads are counter to the entire Apple experience. When I signed up for News last month, I thought I was paying for a premium product. It turns out it’s not much different than using Google to read news. However, at least there I can use the Safari reader feature to block the ads. It’s truly confounding.

I enjoy news when there is impartial reporting.

Too much publicity

Missing prominent French-speaking European magazines such as Le Point, L’Express, Nouvel Obs, Challenges, Les Échos etc as well as daily newspapers from Switzerland (Le Temps or La Tribune de Genève) or Le Soir from Brussels. Would be greatly appreciated. Always interesting to get another perspective than mostly North America
