Mimo: Learn Coding/Programming

This was a five start app until they removed all the game parts of the app and became money grabbers limiting what you can do in a day unless you pay them.

The key system is super annoying, so please remove it or get a FREE way to get more.

I tried learning code when I was younger and I had a hard time, I have more patience now but this takes it step by step

I decided, I want to code but I had zero experience, I looked for apps to help me start and came across Mimo. I downloaded and helping me learn. I even published a website publicly! I went from 0 knowledge to making a website! Recommend for people who want to code.

It is a great app to help you code and it tells you how to code really well. I also like how I am able to test my code

The aim of the app completely shifted with the new update from offering free courses with an optional subscription to forcing people to pay if they want to practice more than 2 lessons a day!! The 5 hearts approach used before was perfect, why would they shift from that unless they are greedy & priorities maximum profit over everything else!!!

Super amazing app! It’s very nicely structured, and has multiple different coding options to choose from! I haven’t been using this app for that long, but from what I’ve experienced from it it’s amazing. It even has a leaderboard and ranks, which makes the learning process more enjoyable! Although…I do think if there was a way to have like a review lesson to go over just to refresh on what was already learned, that would be super helpful. Thank you for the awesome app tho! :D

I actually think this app is really good— when you can actually access the lessons. Most of the time you run out of keys so you can’t learn a lot in one day. I would only recommend this if you are willing to buy a Pro subscription. On the good side, the teaching method is very interactive and kid friendly.
