We love our Yale lock. We use it for our Airbnb. It takes one less thing off my plate. As it’s synced with our Airbnb app, our guests automatically receive their code and it’s set up with the time our guests are at our house. If there’s ever a problem with entry, I’m able to solve the problem remotely. It also makes it easy to give cleaners or contractors their own code with limited times. Highly recommended!
Two updates have failed to correct the visibility of the battery percentage.

after updating tocthe latest version, the app often closes on its own. We have more than 10 doors in the apps and the only way to recover is to reboot. Happens on 15 pro max and 16 pro
Unresponsive app. Cannot even reset password properly. Sucks when you have spent hundreds on a few expensive locks and can’t even access them anymore.
Another instance of an awful “smart” device that creates problems instead of convenience. App wants access to tons of data and your camera etc. and you can’t set up the lock without the app (which doesn’t even connect to the lock half the time so you have to use the key anyway). And if there are other Yale locks in your building it will struggle to connect for the setup telling you to take the batteries out of the other locks in the vicinity! Just an unbelievably bad product that does not do what it promises and does not even work as just an electronic lock when the app won’t connect. Terrible product which I’m guessing is just an excuse to force ppl to download a data collection app. Will be returning.
I bought an Emtek lock that is powered by this application. After paying someone to come and install it, we got to trying to download the app but the app will not allow me to create an account. I spent 2 hours on the phone with 2 different agents and neither of them were able to explain why I would not receive an sms verification code. All they said was they would escalate the issue to the developer team but could not provide me with any further information as to when they would get in touch. The only solution is to call back every day and speak to someone new and retry all the troubleshooting steps we’ve already been over during those 2 hour phone calls. The lock cost me nearly $2000… what HORRIBLE technical service !! Plus the the cost of installation for a lock that’s essentially useless
Terrible. No matter how many times you try, the verification email doesn’t even come through, meaning you are unable to create an account, rendering the app completely useless.
Fingerprint not working 9 times our of 10. Keypad make double or no entries. NOT RELIABLE.
I bought this product thinking I could wirelessly unlock it anywhere. Turns out I have to buy a separate module at another $100. Also the app doesn’t track history with notifications and won’t update my access code at all.
