Reserved a taxi in a weekday late at night (not a busy time). Reserved 10 min ahead. I was never given an estimated arrival time and it was 25 min late. Waiting at night in the cold winter is not what you want when you order a taxi. All the people around me were getting taxis that they had just booked from other companies much much quicker. Don’t bother with them, many other companies to choose from.
I was at work and had a GP appointment for 15:30pm.Not wanting to be late because I had to be there 15 minutes early for other tests before a scan. At 13:20 pm I book a taxi on the royal cab App for 15:05 and my appointment was confirmed.At 15:00pm I waiting infornt of my work till 15:20 and the taxi never showed up.The App never gave me a notification or a reason for the no show. I so was emotional and sad 😞 I had to book a different taxi from different company and they were there in 10 minutes.I was late for my appointment,I was in tears when I got to the hospital for my scan and I had to rebook a scan appointment it took me to months to get. I cried my way back to work,this is the Taxi worst experience i have never had. When I got home after work my friends and I deleted our royal cab account and Apps on our phone.Book royal cab at ur own risk☹️😡
Don’t use! The taxi did turn up, but when I asked to confirm the price before I got in it was £10 more than the agreed price. You can’t trust this company and have been warned…
Don’t download this app book a journey and pay by card they take over double what the journey was and say you’ll get it back! Two weeks later they still got my money and no sign of it going in my bank anytime soon!
Downloaded the app. Entered my mobile number. But I’m not receiving an SMS code. It does not arrive so I’m unable to register to use the service. A bit useless with the registration process. Will find another cab company instead.
The app will not send my phone a text authentication code so I’m unable to use the app. I use an iPhone 12 on EE network.
Unable to set home address correctly as the app only seems to have one correct address for my entire village. It was then very difficult to set the destination address for my journey without the app wanting to make that address my new home address. App experience consistent with customer experience - cab arrived 40 mins late without warning or apology; return journey was cancelled without any communication. Avoid both app and company.
