Redfin: Buy, Sell & Rent Homes

Beautiful app! Pics are great, prices right up front, and all info is clear. Redfin contacts me with rentals that match my search history without prompting so I don’t miss any. I never understood how people used Zillow, which is very hard to understand in my opinion. Redfin rentals is the new rentals app for today’s rental market.

Redfin is excellent and always up to date. I can consistently find what I am looking for in my searches. I like that there are estimates to compare with list price of most properties. There are so many listings to choose from which makes this site very interesting.

Update 5/7/26: The info overlay keeps getting bigger and blocking the photos. Just let me minimize that stupid thing and scroll the photos in peace. Update 9/28/20: Every day all the prior updates are again marked as “new” and I have to sift through to find the actual new listings. Fix it! Original review: Recommendations and notifications are a hot mess. Constantly recommending homes above my price limit or in towns I’ve excluded. Notifications never match each other—banners will appear with a home that isn’t in the feed, and the badge count will be wildly off from the new count in the feed, or not show any badge until you open the app and see all the updates in the feed.

I’ve requested numerous times for you to stop sending me these posts. Please STOP.

It may be an automated online estimate but the gap to reality is ridiculous. I understand bias, variances, but Redfin estimates, more and more, make no sense.

I love this app. It lets me create the perfect filter to find exactly what I’m looking for. Hopefully by the time I’m ready to move they’ll be able to service me in both locations.
