I inspected the npm package and it installed itself in places that shouldn’t have, and it also didn’t recognise my codex install package, and the worst thing is that it also asked permission to track my motion and fitness activity on my phone which makes zero sense for this app to request. I think I’ll stick with sshing to my Mac instead.
This has within 24 hours become my favourite tool of all time (second to Claude itself). Claude has transformed how I can work, however sitting in front of a terminal typing continue and prompts handcuffs you to your desk still. This has enabled me not only to use Claude from anywhere, but to finally and freely develop ideas around life generally!! No more squinting at tiny phone terminals hoping it’s not going to timeout and make you log in again. No more tmux deciding to crash. This, running in daemon mode with a self hosted server, is the real deal. How or why free I don’t know, but Thankyou for your innovation.
I love this thing. It works so well on my server integrated with various AI clients, allows me to control them from anywhere, it’s fantastic!
Honestly, I was surprised, my macbook was sleeping upstairs, and I can just use Claude as normal!
I have been using TMA and SSH and a whole bunch of other ways in order to get my Claude code experience working on my phone to Claude. I have not used an iOS app with this high of quality of authentication, privacy, and features from iOS and LLM Services. Easy pairing. Amazing configuration. Great work!
