I’ve had a long on/off relationship with running, and this programme is teaching me it doesn’t need to be all or nothing. The variety in training, minimal time-based focus and supportive approach make it feel doable. Love supporting an independent initiative and loving getting it done in None to Run.
I was so nervous about starting to run and I’m so grateful for this app. It has slowly and carefully eased me into running and now I am proud to be able to run and enjoy it.
I’m a treadmill runner, not a road runner. But I wanted something outside in the fresh air and something I could do with my dog. Learning how to run at a slower pace, with a program that gradually increases, is exactly what I needed. And I put on a playlist of curated running songs and I’m off! I love running now!
Simple, powerful and reliable for beginners and experts alike. The gentler approach is perfect for those of us who need a softer start and the gradations are the best I’ve encountered in an app. The interface is elegant and the customer support is superb, I’ve had replies usually within a day or two.
Absolutely loved the none to run program. The progression was a lot slower and more flexible than other programs I’ve tried which helped me to finally stick to it. I love that it focused on running slowly for a set amount of time rather than pace or distance. I’ve now completed N2R and started the run to race 5k program and it’s been a seamless progression. Can’t wait to be able to run 5K!!
I believed I was just not a runner but a walker/hiker. My young son was inspired by the book Born to Run and explained to me humans evolved for long distance running. I was inspired - but how? I discovered N2R and did not look back. Learning not to give up and to ‘Just do it’ has been wonderful mental gym for me! Now I am ready to work up to 5k.
Easy to use great graduations and progressions
I RARELY write reviews. I love this app. So easy to use and builds up in a very conservative very achievable way. Outstanding compared to its “Couchy” counterparts. Couldn’t recommend more to anyone starting out. Especially if you feel like you’re not even at square one.
This is the best running app by far. I couldn’t walk without getting out of breath. After following Mark’s advice and program as closely as I could I’m now a runner with a pb of 7km and still pushing myself (with the app) to run further.
this app changed my life, I’ve never been very good at any form of exercise and had a bad relationship with even the idea of running. this app starts as slow as you can imagine but while you’re actually doing the intervals, it’s harder than you think! the pacing of the 12 week none to run program kept me motivated and I was continuously proud of my achievements every single week. I’m not on the 5km training program and loving it :) if you have ever wanted to start running, I couldn’t recommend this app enough
