Privacy Policy

Who we are

Sluice is operated by 22Gstudios. We are the data controller for personal data processed in connection with the Service.

What we collect

• Account data. Your name and email from Google when you sign in via Google OAuth.
• Usage data. Pages you visit on Sluice, server logs, and basic device data (IP, user agent) for security and reliability.
• Billing data. Subscription state (plan, renewal date) returned by Paddle. We do not store card numbers; Paddle is our merchant of record and handles all payment data directly.
• Workspace data. Niches you analyse, apps you save, and other inputs you give the Service.

We do not collect special-category data (race, religion, health, etc.).

How we use it

• Provide the Service and your account features.
• Process payments (via Paddle) and manage subscriptions.
• Detect abuse, debug issues, and improve reliability.
• Send transactional emails (sign-in alerts, billing receipts).

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your workspace data to train AI models that are shared across customers.

Sub-processors

We use a small set of vetted vendors that handle your personal data on our behalf:

• Google Cloud Platform · application hosting (our backend & database run on a GCP compute instance).
• Google Sign-In (OAuth) · authentication.
• Paddle.com · merchant of record and payment processing.

Cookies & storage

We set a session cookie after you sign in. That cookie is HTTP-only, secure, and expires after thirty days. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Retention

We keep account and workspace data while your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion (see below), we remove personal data within 30 days. Billing records may be retained longer where required by tax or accounting law.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; object to processing; and request data portability. Email hello@sluice.fyi and we will respond within 30 days.

International transfers

Personal data may be processed outside your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses) with sub-processors.

Changes

We will post material changes with a new effective date. For significant changes, we may notify you via email.
