Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Sluice (the “Service”), operated by 22Gstudios (“we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What Sluice is
Sluice is an App Store Optimization (ASO) intelligence tool. It aggregates publicly available data from app stores, ad libraries, and third-party signal sources, and presents derived insights to help builders evaluate niches and competitors. Sluice is informational only. We make no guarantees that any insight will lead to commercial success.
3. Accounts
You sign in via Google OAuth. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
4. Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans are billed through Paddle.com, our merchant of record. By subscribing, you authorise Paddle to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Cancellation stops the next renewal; the current period remains active. Prices and plan inclusions are listed on the pricing page and may change with notice for new billing cycles.

6. Acceptable use
You may not (a) resell, redistribute, or sublicense Sluice data without written permission; (b) circumvent rate limits or paywalls; (c) reverse-engineer the Service except to the extent permitted by law; (d) use the Service to violate third-party rights or applicable law; or (e) attempt to compromise the Service or other users.
7. Third-party data
The Service surfaces information sourced from third parties (e.g. app stores, ad libraries). We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of that information, and we are not affiliated with any third party referenced. Trademarks belong to their respective owners.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its code, design, and derived analyses, is owned by 22Gstudios and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
9. Warranty disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 22Gstudios’s aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and cancel a paid subscription from your account page. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.
12. Changes to the terms
We may update these Terms; we’ll post the new version with an updated effective date. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of India.
